BUILDING SECTOR STUDY I N T H E B A LT I C S TAT E S

The German OPET IABPO (address on
back page), in mid-1992, carried out a
study on the energy situation in the
building sector in Lithuania, Latvia and
Estonia. Using information gained on
their fact-finding mission, a study has
been compiled highlighting
technologies used in the residential
sector in the Baltic States. Economic
and legal aspects are also analysed in
the report. The study will provide
useful information both for OPETs and
for companies from the European
Community who may be considering
further activities in the Baltic States.
